My patriotism and attitude

Hi dear watchers and friends.

Maybe I should explain to all of you, what my political attitude is exactly about and how I think.
(sorry for bad English or grammar, I was in a hurry^^)

Yes I´m a passionate patriot of Germany, but this is often confused with nationalism.
Patriotism means for me, that I feel deeply connected to my identity and culture, it means
Germany is like a (cultural) treasure for me and I try to show its beauties, because the image
of Germany suffered a lot because of the world war, reducing a 1000 year old culture to just
12 years.
But I´m definitly not a nationalist who thinks other cultures are nothing worth or even worse:
I would never deny any german crimes! I´m not a blinde patriot who says the german crimes
were nothing. I´m aware that Germany killed brutally millions and destroyed many regions
because of an awful ideology.
But many people think, when I also name the crimes the allied did to german civilians,
that I wanna relativate something. That is wrong. I mention directly the german crimes
and that they happened, so it must be allowed that I can also name the crimes of the other
side for information purposes, without being called a nationalist.

No I don´t hate Russians, British, French, Polish, Czechs or anyone else, because I also want
that others don´t hate the normal Germans for what happened decades ago, but that the young generations can respect each other. If I hate someone, then it´s the leaders and their helpers who did or supported the crimes.

I have german ancestors from the Sudetenland and it´s something personal, which other should
understand too. Noone has to like patriotism if he doesn´t want, but he should tolerate it,
as long as it is not blinde nationalism of course.

I do not eve hate communists if they discuss on eye level with respect to me, and if we don´t agree (or any other political view), then we end the discussion and the life goes on, no problem.

Also I won´t hide that years ago, some comments were maybe not very diplomatic and when
someone offended me, I did offend back, but people change and I really try to be as objective
as possible.

Everyone can criticize me and we discuss about it, I think I don´t lie when I say, that I never
ran away from a discussion and always try to answer properly.

When I make a picture about the former german eastern territories, this does not mean,
I want them back and damage the people that live there now, it´s just my hobby to learn
and spread infos about history.

Yes I do mostly pro-german pictures, but I also did pictures about France, USA, Romania or Sweden etc. and I definitly will do more about other countries too.

So please dear mates, don´t think I´m a hateful German nationalist that dislikes other nations, I have dozens of good contacts from so many countries that can proof I´m not biased and I´m always ready to talk to anyone.
