Description

In 1939 Germany offered a solution for the polish corridor problem.

A referendum in a region that mostly covered West Prussia was planned,
and the country which loses the referendum shall get an exterritorial Autobahn,
from Bülow to Dirschau for Germany or from Bromberg to Gdingen for Poland.

Germany also demanded the full and souvereign reunification with Danzig,
which had a population of 97% Germans at that time.

The diplomatic negotiations failed and Hitler searched for a solution with war,
triggering another big war in Europe.

The doted areas show lost german territory after the 1. world war.
Just a quick info map.

Oh, yes, WWII is now a polish fault, because we didn't wanted a 'peaceful' solution like Czechoslovakia... wait a sec... You see, I don't like hawkish and wannabe-imperialistic attitude of polish goverment at the time, but at this particular instance I'm fully supportive of their 'warmorgering', because I see, just as polish goverment saw at least since may of 1939, what would sooner or later happen to Poland if they aggred to Nazi scum's demands. So don't BS about Germany 'offering a solution', because it was nothing more than a propaganda action to make Germany look less like a warmonger after invading us.
