Description

In the 10th century the Germans started to settle the south-east in the east-alpine regions. After the german king (later Kaiser) Otto the Great defeated the Hungaryans, the way was free for bavarian settlers to settle the regions that will be later called Austria.
As you see, they needed only 3 generations to settle down along the Danube and even into Kärnten (Caranthinia).
